 DISCOVER YOUR TRUE SELF

Everything you discover will not be pleasant, but you can do something with it if it is true. You can become the person that you have always wanted to be. This is love. It takes love to see yourself. It takes love to endure yourself and work toward what you can be. We don’t love ourselves because we cover over what we haven’t been but could have. Loving ourselves allows us to do something with what we see because we own who we are but believe there is more.

the concept of you

the Foundation of Discover You! is helping each person get an understanding of the concept of you. You can in turn use it to develop your self-concept.

Self-concept is a term that is used to describe what a person believes about themselves. It is the way you see yourself based on your beliefs,

There is the concept of self and your self-concept. Your concept of self is how we think about our existence and what that means. What does it mean to be alive? Why are we here? What gives us value? What makes people who they are? These are our beliefs and viewpoints about certain attributes or characteristics a person has. These are typically ideas that have been reinforced by society and those around you. For example, you could be in a culture where it's better to be quiet and wait your turn to be called upon to speak, But you are naturally talkative and loud. You voice your opinion very easily. This could be seen as offensive. There could be certain requirements before a person just speaks freely. They may have to obtain a certain standing in society. They may have to have a certain level of success in something. In your mind, all you need to have is the truth. In your mind, the truth should validate the truth.

part of our concept of self we are born with it. We aren’t aware of it fully because we have to grow to be able to accurately what it is that we feel and see and value. Even after years, we may not know why we do what we do and the purpose for it …

the understanding we have about the world around us and how it applies to us is in part something that is hardwired within us but also experienced through others. Because we don’t do well with things that are different and have many different responses to it we learn to be able to know what is good about us and what needs to be hidden, worked on, and even totally eradicated out of our lives.

A child can be born with a nature that makes them more cautious while another can be more risk-taking… chances are the cautious child can be aware of the risk, and the other is obese to the risk and just wants to the other side.

  1. not making space and room for our differences

  2. being ashamed of our difference

  3. not honoring our differences and the differences of others

  4. the same job can be done in many different ways

  5. the way we do things is our unique way of functioning and existing in the world

  6. believing what society or culture says about our differences.

These beliefs tend to shape how we see everyone, not just ourselves. Based on these principles and beliefs we

Applying these questions and the answers to our understanding of who we are makes up your self-concept. To change our concept of self we have to adjust what it means to be human… and to understand what it is to be human…

Having the right concept of ourselves allows us to be able to relate to ourselves and have the right expectation of ourselves as well as make the choices in life that rightly align you and give you the greatest opportunity to succeed at what you do.

we want to introduce a concept of self that has to do with what we call your intrinsic design.

it is rooted in a more objective view of studying ourselves rather than subjective. However it takes in account the importance of the subjective aspects of who we are and how we have come to those conclusions and decisions to be who we are. I one sense we are born who we are are but in another sense we have a handin what we become at least how we develop what we have to become who we are.

we do this for four major reasons…

to find out about your unique design take the identifier and read teh design overview,… there are additional resources for you to

there is a general and then a specific element and then even a detailed

We start with a concept called your intrinsic human design. This is a term that focuses on how even the way we see ourselves is hardwired to us. We have a basic premise but we experience these differently based on our orientation to the world through our unique design. For example

what we have find about your instrinsic design

  1. you were born with it

  2. it provides a basis for you to interact with and relate to teh world around you

  3. at its core is your nature. A nature that you share with other humands in general but specific through your giftedness and what primary motivates you.

  4. It sets your personal disposition toward life

  5. you can learn to see it and the values and set of preferneces adn capacties that come with it a certqin way but you can’t change it.

  6. ifyou totally hate yourself you still are using your faciltiates the ones you hate to beome the person syou want to be. remember that the ability to change is function ofyour design.

3 components of your concept of self.

identity

who you are at your core.

There is an intrinsic view of you, and then there is the view that you by virtue of society, family, and culture.

this is everything from our physical appearance to our status in life to who we are associated with and how we are looked at. whether we are rich or poor… successful or not how people look at us. I know that was confidence taken away from ou

we all have a perspective of ourselves and we tend to measure ourselves with others around us. we use them for examples and to understand what the collective sees as beautiful and successful and

mindset

how you think about yourself.

We are born with a nature and a set of preferences. None of us sees our characteristics as bad or unpleasant. We are exposed to people’s responses to us being ourselves. That becomes a measure because we are all born with the desire to belong and be accepted. Also, being a part of something and being accepted comes with perks such as favor and protection. We learn how to fit in and harmonize our abilities with the culture and ways people engage. Which can encourage or limit our expression of ourselves.

worth

how you value yourself.

We are all born with a value system. A way of measuing what is important and what has greater worth to us. Typically things that have chaaracteristic that align with the themes of our design are seen as valualbe… they are useful to accomplish our drives.. they are

learning that we all have value and seeing how those characteristics are at ork in the woedl in a different ways is a good place to talk about estteem and or selfworth

We use this model to explain the first part of our work and process.

There are two aspects of theis model. The first is getting to know yourself. The second is increasing the love you have for yourself. the more we learn who we are the more we can be who we are … as well as the more we love who we are the more we can be who we are. It takes both.

Some people are trending in the wrong direction … there are two other models

loving mysefl but not growing in my knowledge of myself/

going in my knowledge of self but not in my love for self/

Secondly we have designed a process that will allow you to get utilize the insights that we have giving you.

 intrinsic motivational design paradigm

We see the intrinsic motivation design paradigm to build a foundation of truth about your identity. You were born with an identity. It is developed, cultured, and expressed. Our intrinsic motivation is the innate drives, natures, and capacities we were born with. No one gave that to us. We were born with it. Despite our developments and decisions, we are still going through those capabilities and abilities. It also helps us understand the present dynamics and the mechanics of our personalities, preferences, and perspectives.

Sets a framework to talk about the dynamics and aspects of who you are that you were born with and how those dynamics make you who you are; even in your choices, it still through the lens of your design…. the insights act as a template and a start point as well as a deep dive into human behavior the way we operate.
